August 19 2024 Supermoon. (ap) — october’s supermoon is the closest of the year and it’s teaming up with a comet for a rare. If you don’t catch monday’s blue supermoon, you will be able to see three more supermoons this year.
The full moon’s peak will occur on monday afternoon, according to nasa, at 2:26 p.m. Stargazers will be treated to a “blue supermoon” on monday night, with the rare event expected to be visible thanks to clear skies.
